• Players MUST register with their 2024-2025 USA Hockey Number (Open Monday, April 1, 2024)
• Tryout fees are $150.
• Registration AFTER April 30 will receive an additional late fee of $25.
• Participants who have NOT been previously rostered on a Varsity team prior to Tryouts MUST attend JV Tryouts. 
• Participants from JV Tryouts will be evaluated and may have the opportunity to be invited to the Varsity Tryout at the conclusion of JV Tryouts. 
• Players who have previously been rostered on a Varsity team will only attend Varsity Tryouts, but based on the completion of evaluations CAN be rostered to a JV team.

SVHA utilizes the Snap! Spend payment system (formerly Groundworks).  We are a check free organization.  Payments can be made without a fee by using ACH as a payment method.  A credit card payment option is available as a convenience to SVHA families; however, it will incur a small fee from Snap! Spend to process. 

Tryout Fee:  $150 (you will receive an email from spend@snapraise.com, which is sent by the SVHA Treasurer, within a day or two of registration to set yourself up in Snap! Spend and coordinate payment by April 30)

Commitment Fee:  $400 (an email will be sent by the Treasurer within a day or two of team acceptance)

• Pre skates will be available to players who have registered for Tryouts.  (Please note:  Grade is the grade your player is entering for the 2024-2025 school year) 
• You will check in at the SV table prior to the pre-skate to receive your Tryout Jersey no earlier than 45 minutes prior to the session start time.
• All player requirements should be met prior to attending the pre-skates.  See Tryout Paperwork Requirements for SVHA Players on this website.

No Spectators - CLOSED TRYOUTS
We will not be allowing spectators this year and we ask parents to NOT congregate inside the rink. 

Attire
SVHA will provide each skater with a reversible jersey with a number for tryouts.  This jersey will be RETURNED at the end of the skater's tryout sessions.  Failure to return the jersey will result in a $100 fee.  No names and no emblems of PAHL, PIHL, or AAA teams are permitted at tryouts. Please also remove identifying pants shells and socks for tryouts.  Players will be asked to leave the ice, remove the identifying items before returning to the Tryout.

Check-In Tables 
Please arrive ONLY 45 minutes prior to check in at the SV table in the lobby when you enter Baierl.  We ask that your player checks in before EACH Tryout. The Tryout Paperwork page will list the details of what will be needed at Tryouts.

Water Bottles
Players must bring their own water bottle marked with their player’s name. 

Seneca Valley Hockey is considered a FALL sport.  Players will need a valid 2024-2025 USA Hockey number during registration, and if new to the organization, they will need to bring a copy of the players Birth Certificate to the pre-skate or first day of tryouts (please no originals).
