SVHA is excited to announce the start of the SV Elementary Team for the 2023-24 season!

PURPOSE:

• Get future Raiders on the ice together to foster an atmosphere of school pride.

PARTICIPANTS:

• Players entering grades 2-5 (12U) in the Seneca Valley school district during the 2023-2024 school year.
• Players entering grade 6 and a 2012 birth year (2011 birth year and older are not eligible)

ALL PLAYERS RECEIVE:

• Seneca Valley hockey practice jersey and socks 

COMMITMENT:

• Cost:  $900 (or $850 if you attended the 2023 summer session)
• Payment Schedule:  $300 at sign-up, $300 due on Aug 15 and $300 on Sept 15
• Players must have all necessary equipment as governed by USA Hockey
• A 2023-2024 USA Hockey Number is required prior to getting on the ice. You can get this number at https://membership.usahockey.com

HIGHLIGHTS:

• 15 games + playoffs
• 13 minute periods
• Playoff champion and runner-up awards
• Scorekeepers and certified referees for all games
• Non-checking
• Playing rules will be those used by USA Hockey

SEASON SCHEDULE:

• October - Mid-March
• Game Days - Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday evenings at Alpha Ice Complex in Harmarville, PA or Roy McKnight Hockey Center in Fox Chapel, PA
• Approximately one practice per month at Baierl
• League playoffs in early/mid-March
• All major tournament weekends for amateur hockey will be bye weeks.

REGISTRATION / Roster:

• The SV Elementary team roster will include 18 skaters and 2 goalies.
• The roster will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.
• The first 18 skaters and 2 goalies that register will have a roster spot.
